ESYDA SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

General Information

ESYDA is a 501(c) non-profit organization. We serve our local community. We have boys teams (and looking to expand in all girls teams by Fall 2020. Our program ranges from at age four through high school seniors. ESYDA encourages and promotes healthy and positive development. We promote social development through leadership mentoring young leaders and global citizens. As such we believe every child deserves a chance to play and offer scholarships.

Montgomery County Scholarship

This scholarship is offered to all Montgomery county residents that receive Free or Reduced Lunch at School. This scholarship helps families offset club fees.  This scholarship is funded by Montgomery County Executives Grant. 

  1. In order to be considered for a scholarship, applicants must be on the roster of one of our team for the soccer year (August-June). A deposit must be paid at the time of registration. 

  2. Players must complete the online application in full. If the application is not completed in full ESYDA reserves the right of rescinding the scholarship offer.

  3. Submit any documentation required by email or online dropbox. We will require financial information from both parents if appropriate and applicable. 

  4. Applications will be reviewed by the scholarship committee. All information will be kept confidential.

Scholarships are awarded based upon demonstrated need. Financial need will be the only determinant in receiving a scholarship. Families are responsible for paying any uniform,club, coaching or team expenses not covered by the scholarship. Parents and Players receiving scholarship funds are strongly encouraged to volunteer their time back to the club to help out their team or at club events.

Hardship Scholarships

In addition to our Montgomery County scholarship, we offered financial needs scholarships to help offset the costs associated with club fee and travel soccer. Players must provide the proof of income documentation as required for the Montgomery County Scholarship.
